National Alpaca Day 2011
National Alpaca Day takes place on 1st May 2011 and Kandiah Suri Alpaca Stud will be opening their gates to the public again this year. Our Open Day in January attracted over 200 people and we hope to get a similar number for the National Alpaca Open Day.
This is a wonderful opportunity for people to get up close to alpacas and see just how unique and adorable these animals are. We will have some very young alpaca for you to see and you will get the opportunity to hand feed these amazing animals with their enormous eyes and long eyelashes. Just look at the photo of Biscuit at the top of the page. She is now 6 months old and loves to be cuddled.
There is no charge for entry. Just bring the family along for a great relaxing and educational day. We will be open between 10am and 4pm.
