Homeschool Visit
A group of homeschool children along with their parents came to see the alpacas. We started off inside the house with a discussion about alpacas, where they originated from, their fleece and some of their unique characteristics before going outside to hand feed the animals.
It never ceases to amaze me that these intelligent animals seem to sense the vulnerability of small children and are always calm and quiet with them.
It was a very special day and some of the children made cards after their visit which are shown below.
