Franklin Show 2012
The sun was out and a great day was had by all. This is a really nice friendly country show which attracts a large number of visitors. There were over 100 alpacas there and it was a wonderful sight to see the different colours in the showring.
All of the alpacas that we took won ribbons and we were particularly proud of Kandiah Kahurangi who was placed 1st in his class and then went on to win Champion Intermediate male as well as Champion Mid/Dark Fawn Suri. "Kahu" has an extremely fine, lustrous fleece with fabulous handle. He is sired by our solid black suri KANDIAH JUMPING JACK.
