We offer a unique experience for overseas travellers. Walk along one of New Zealand's remote and stunning beaches in the company of some of our beautiful alpacas.
Our alpacas are halter trained and can be easily led. Or just stroll along in the company of these unique and friendly animals. The leisurely walks last for an hour or can be shorter if you wish. The walks take place in the stunning Bream Bay with magnificent views of Whangarei Heads and the Hen & Chicken Islands. The alpacas are happy to paddle up to their knees in the water if you want to take them there. This amazing experience is only available to our farmstay guests and only if the weather is good and the tides are right. Unfortunately we are unable to offer beach walks during peak holiday times due to the large number of free roaming dogs and vehicles on the beach. Walks are not possible between 20th December and 31st January or on Public holiday weekends. Check out more photos. |
